As spring breathes new life into The Gardens on Spring Creek, we're excited to announce the evolution of our beloved series of Member Mornings events into something even more special: Member Insider Events.

These special gatherings continue our tradition of connecting members directly with our expert staff, but with a refreshed format and expanded schedule that includes both morning and evening options. Each one-hour event features a 30-minute presentation followed by time for questions and exploration, all while enjoying complimentary refreshments in our beautiful garden settings. Saturday, May 10 at 8:00 a.m. – Mother's Day Weekend Sculpture Tour: Art in Bloom Step into a world where nature and artistry intertwine on our exclusive Mother's Day weekend sculpture walking tour! Join our knowledgeable Gardens' Ambassadors as they guide Members through an enchanting journey of our permanent sculpture collection.

Marvel at the magnificent bronze entry archway "Passing The Baton" as you walk beneath its sweeping curves. Feel the gentle movement of "Triple Aspen" as it dances with the breeze off the Great Lawn. Discover the playful charm of "Big Daddy JJ," a whimsical praying mantis creation ingeniously crafted from repurposed dumpster metal.

This intimate tour reveals the stories, inspirations, and artistic vision behind each masterpiece. Experience these sculptures in a new light, understanding how they harmonize with and enhance our botanical surroundings.

Tuesday, June 10 at 5:30 p.m. – Summer Evening Botanical Tour: What's Blooming?

This after-hours walking tour invites you to immerse yourself in summer's full splendor as twilight approaches. Join Bryan Fischer, Curator of Plant Collections, for an illuminating journey through our diverse botanical offerings. Bryan will highlight unique, underused, and showstopper plants across the grounds and provide tips and tricks for growing them in your own gardens.

Discover the "why?" behind the beauty as Bryan unveils the thoughtful design principles, plant selection strategies, and horticultural techniques that make our Gardens thrive. His expert insights will transform the way you see and appreciate each bloom.

Saturday, August 9 at 8:00 a.m. – Dawn Discovery: Garden Secret Insects Tour

Embark on an enchanting morning adventure at The Gardens with our Members-only wildlife exploration. Rise with the sun for this unique opportunity to discover the hidden world of insects that bring our Gardens to life.

Join Gardens' horticulturist Tessie Walters as she guides you through the fascinating microcosm of late summer pollinators and beneficial insects. This immersive tour reveals nature's tiny marvels during their most active morning hours—before the day's heat sends them into hiding.

Observe butterflies emerging from their evening rest, bees beginning their daily collection routes, and other essential pollinators at work. Tessie will share expert insights about each creature's crucial role in our botanical ecosystem and teach you to identify these important garden allies.

Tuesday, September 9 at 5:30 p.m. – The Gardens Orchard Revival Talk

Embrace the changing season with an after-hours exploration of our treasured orchard. This special tour invites Members to discover the renewal taking place within our Garden of Eatin'.

Join Gardens horticulturist Chelsea McLean and horticultural and operations supervisor Dillon Hancock as they guide you through our orchard's transformation journey. Members will learn about the innovative techniques and dedicated efforts underway to revitalize these beloved specimens.

Discover the careful pruning strategies, soil enrichment methods, and specialized care that's breathing new life into our cultivars. Chelsea and Dillon will share their vision for the orchard's future, including exciting plans for expansion, diversity, and enhanced productivity in the coming seasons.
